Everything you need to know about Crowd Check, whether you're registering interest or thinking about running one yourself.

Crowd Check is a way to test demand for a crowdfunding campaign before it goes live on PledgeMe. A founder shares their idea here, people register their interest, and that early signal (how many, who, and how strongly) helps the founder, and us, decide whether the campaign is ready to launch, and what to adjust before it does.

Pick a campaign, tell us how you'd like to be involved (likely to pledge, keen to help spread the word, or just watching), and leave your name and email. It takes under a minute and isn't a commitment to invest. Your details go straight to the founder and PledgeMe, are never sold or shared further, and are only used to keep you posted when the campaign launches.

Crowd Check pages are set up by the PledgeMe team, not self-serve. Get in touch with us with a short description of what you're planning to raise for, and we'll set up your page: image, story, and a registration form tailored to your campaign type (equity, lending, or project). It costs $250 + GST, and your page is usually ready within a couple of days.

Most run for a few weeks in the lead-up to launch: long enough to build a real picture of demand, short enough to keep momentum. Once it wraps up, we hand the founder a full list of everyone who registered so they can invite them to pledge on day one, and the page comes down from this directory.
