Researching Solutions to the Gender Investment Gap

I'm preparing for a research trip to Australia, the UK, Europe and Canada in October/November 2026. And my goals for the research trip are definitely larger than my current budget ($15k - 80% funded by the Winston Churchill Fellowship).

My research is into "solutions to the gender investment gap" - eg. what is actually working to get more money to female founders at both a macro and micro level. We hear a lot about the sad statistics (only 2% of global venture capital goes to female founders) but I want to share what is actually working internationally to change this.

I already have some great interviews locked in for Australia and the UK, and hope to host a dinner in each of the major centres I'm visiting so we can discuss my findings and gain more awareness (and action). An extra $5k would allow me to do more travel in the UK and Europe, interview more people, and host some additional discussions.
